{"id":1967,"date":"2012-10-07T14:05:16","date_gmt":"2012-10-07T12:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/?p=1967"},"modified":"2012-10-08T14:14:32","modified_gmt":"2012-10-08T12:14:32","slug":"curator-needed-part-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/?p=1967","title":{"rendered":"Curator Needed, Part Four&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To follow up on <a href=\"http:\/\/booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com\">Tamara<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com\/2012\/09\/curator-needed-part-iii.html\">Curator Needed, Part III&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aside: I still have to tell all of y&#8217;all (both of you) about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tnttt.com\/viewtopic.php?f=50&amp;t=51818\">teardrop trailer<\/a> I built and then dragged up to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etoshanationalpark.co.za\/\">Etosha<\/a> for the school holidays. But that&#8217;s not important right now.<\/p>\n<p>Just north of Windhoek there&#8217;s a little town (most towns in Namibia are little, and there are not so many towns either) called Okahandja, and there we passed a military museum. I was kind of sad that we didn&#8217;t have time to visit.<\/p>\n<p>But after checking out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.culturalheritage.cc\/md\/search\/okahandja.vm\">their web page<\/a>, I&#8217;ve changed my mind.<\/p>\n<p>Some gems include:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;DFSH 41: The gun is made out of brown wood and black metal. It has openings at the end of it, where bullots will come out when it is used.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;60MM Mortal: Its made out of metal, plastic and leather and its green in colour. It has a metal object fixed on it, where it can stand.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, thank you.
