It might turn out to be <a href=\"http:\/\/sanparks.org\/forums\/viewtopic.php?f=67&amp;t=48711&amp;start=64\">somewhat hot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Accommodation up there is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sanparks.org\/docs\/tourism_tariffs\/tariffs-2014-2015.pdf\">rather expensive<\/a>, with camping being by far the <a href=\"http:\/\/sanparks.org\/forums\/viewtopic.php?f=67&amp;t=30431&amp;start=90#p2298763\">cheapest option<\/a>. And since we have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/teardrop\/\">a teardrop<\/a>, we are set.<\/p>\n<p>Except that the teardrop needs a bit of work.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TeardropRoof.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2976\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TeardropRoof.jpg\" alt=\"TeardropRoof\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The lexan expands a lot more than wood, so when it gets hot the entire roof pulls up. This breaks the seal, of course, and when it rains I get wet. I don&#8217;t like getting wet.<\/p>\n<p>Also, I never completed the <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyyellowteardrop.blogspot.co.za\/2012\/12\/ten-best-teardrop-galleys.html\">galley<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tnttt.com\/viewtopic.php?f=50&amp;t=35081&amp;start=241\">inside cupboards<\/a>*.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RoofOff.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2977\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/RoofOff.jpg\" alt=\"RoofOff\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I decided to shorten the see-through part of the roof, taking it from the front to the top, not over towards the back. It&#8217;s a major <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netlingo.com\/word\/pita.php\">PITA<\/a>. Because when I went to buy more aliminium, they were no longer there. And I couldn&#8217;t find the same thing anywhere else.
