Soup weather.<\/p>\n<p>Normally I would make <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/?p=95\" target=\"_blank\">snert<\/a>, but I needed a quick recipe, and it also needed to be vegetarian.<\/p>\n<p>Google turned up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/archives\/vegetarian-split-pea-soup-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/archives\/vegetarian-split-pea-soup-recipe.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I added a turnip, and (vegetarian) bacon bits. And of course <a href=\"http:\/\/www.splishme.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Worcester sauce<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;add salt&#8221; hint works well. I put in at least four times the salt I normally would.
