And then we did many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/lr\/trips\/y2k\/index.html\">interesting<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/lr\/trips\/moz2004\/index.html\">unforgettable<\/a> trips and met <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/lr\/trips\/legends2003\/index.html\">fabulous<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/lr\/trips\/lr-50th.html\">people<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But I moved on and couldn&#8217;t provide the TLC required. Ended up not driving her (at all) for over five years &#8212; when I drained the fuel that had gone vrot in the tank, it was still <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iol.co.za\/motoring\/industry-news\/is-lead-replacement-petrol-drying-up-1910637\">red<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So she went to live with someone else via the guys over at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ponsteyn4x4.co.za\/\">Pon Steyn<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Said goodbye to my 1959 Series II that I completely rebuilt back in the late nineties.
