Hooked the teardrop and headed south.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5721\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5125cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"506\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ngotso North has often been good for us. It&#8217;s between the H1-4 and the Ngotso river, and something is always getting itself killed in the river, so we&#8217;ve often seen jackal and hyenas here.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5722\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5089cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"636\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5723\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5091cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"501\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5724\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5096cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"512\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The hyenas had a warthog head they were nomming on, the jackal was obviously hoping for a share.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5725\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5099cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"465\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5726\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5132cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Saw three Kori Bustard a bit further down the road, and then spotted a lion at Ngotso dam (which has also been really good for us in the past).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5727\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5108cr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"623\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5728\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_5112cr-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"649\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The cars were all clustered at the other end of the dam, yea, there were at least four more lion there.
