They sell, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/?p=247\" target=\"_blank\">amongst other things<\/a>, frozen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tigersandstrawberries.com\/2006\/02\/01\/dim-sum-delight-char-sui-bai\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dim Sum<\/a> type stuff, and I bought half a dozen veg and half a dozen pork buns this afternoon. Steamed them in my bamboo steamer, excellent. The veg ones are nicer than the pork, but that doesn&#8217;t mean that you shouldn&#8217;t try the pork too.<\/p>\n<p>Served them with lots of rice, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/?p=242\" target=\"_blank\">umeboshi<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/chinesefood.about.com\/od\/sauces\/r\/sweetandsour.htm\" target=\"_blank\">sweet and sour sauce<\/a> (I doubled the sauce recipe).<\/p>\n<p>Tanya doesn&#8217;t like the umeboshi. That, was to be expected. Jessica doesn&#8217;t much like it either, but she might grow into it. (Tamsyn, of course, had hamburger patties :-)<\/p>\n<p>Me, I like it, but a little bit will last a long time. Now I want to try making <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recipezaar.com\/Nibuta-329655\" target=\"_blank\">Nibuta<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Footnote: since this blog posting I referenced above, we&#8217;ve tasted the Confucious Family Liquor.
