I can&#8217;t hit those for shit<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The ones on the right (look carefully) are Big Bore Unlimited targets. Apparently I can hit those quite well<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5790\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/gold.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"494\" height=\"636\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Same day, same gun, hit more of the small ones than the big ones.<\/p>\n<p>Yea, I don&#8217;t know how that happened either<sup>5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><sup>1<\/sup> In this case, a Thompson Contender in <a href=\"https:\/\/bellmtcs.com\/300whisperrimproved\">300 Whisp-R<\/a>, which is a damn nice round, and a damn nice gun, I got the barrel from Mike Bellm himself.<\/p>\n<p><sup>2<\/sup> I only hit 24\/40, while the winning score was 39\/40. BUT! In my defense, this is the first time I was shooting after having cataract surgery to my left eye<sup>4<\/sup> and my old sight settings were way off.<\/p>\n<p><sup>3<\/sup> Got 32\/40, which is a decent if not excellent score.<\/p>\n<p><sup>4<\/sup> For my sins I am cross-dominant.<\/p>\n<p><sup>5<\/sup> On the small bore side, I only shot a 28, which should have placed me maybe third or so. But the other people shot worse than I did.
