I liked the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ledzshine.co.za\/strip_light_led.html\" target=\"_blank\">strip lights<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ledzshine.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">LED z Shine<\/a>, so I phoned a rep, who promised to get back to me and then&#8230; things went quiet. Contacted them recently, but they don&#8217;t deal direct and suggested I go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eagleelectric.co.za\/index.php?SCREEN=home\" target=\"_blank\">Eagle<\/a>. Popped in, found this 220V fluorescent strip light. It&#8217;s rather expensive, almost R600, except they then give 55% discount so it&#8217;s R255 out the door.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-988\" title=\"S6301759r\" src=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/S6301759r-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"S6301759r\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/S6301759r-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.retro.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/S6301759r.JPG 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also rather bright :-)<\/p>\n<p>Now I still need to add two switches, one for the undercounter light and one for the downlighters that still need to go into the glass cupboard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wanted to use low-voltage LED undercounter lights in the kitchen.
