ARRL / Rochester VHF Group Receive Converter

Wreck of a 50MHz receive converter that spent too much time in the junkbox

You'll find the article describing this converter in the ARRL Handbook. Designed by W2DUC and K2YCO of the Rochester VHF Group, the same PCB can be used to build either a 50MHz or 144MHz version, with the IF at 28MHz.

This is the 50MHz version, with toroids. The 144MHz coils are open-core, wound on 1/4" 20tpi bolt.
