Vernor Vinge has died.<\/p>\n<p>Some years back he read some of my sci-fi stories and suggested that I could\/should get published. For some strange reason it reminds me of _The Sparrow_, maybe just because of the strangeness of the alien races depicted.<\/p>\n<p>I remember really enjoyed _Peace War_ long long ago.<\/p>\n<p>*sigh*<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, hell.
